Merry Christmas, everyone! Spending these Holy days in Washington DC with my family is turning out to be very special. My mom and I put up the most ridiculous, silver tinsel tree covered in pastel ornaments. Dad hung my stocking filled with treats and my hotel room will soon be filled with the scents of the Block traditional Christmas dinner (you wouldn't believe my mom's mashed potatoes). All this proves it doesn't matter where you are...it's family that makes the holiday. And as long as we are together...it's home!

Here's wishing you a holiday filled with family, laughter and love. *And to those who are separated from their loved ones, may the memories of past Christmases comfort you!

Much joy,
Stephanie J.

Hey Y'all!

So I've been to the Texas State Fair and  eaten everything fried you can imagine. I've watched the pig races and even seen Elvis sculpted out of butter (I'm so not kidding)...I've visited the 'Book Depository' and the 'Grassy Knoll'. I've pretty much done the "big D"...WICKED now moves to Houston. I've got a great pair of boots, so I'm well prepared to take on all of Texas.:) ... Also, check out the new tunes posted on my audio/visual page. They are from a new musical called BITE! created by David Howard and Bret Simmons (some good local LA boys). See what you think and spread the word on this new musical.

Much joy,
Stephanie J.

Oh...how time flies! It's a little weird. I feel like I've been away from WICKED for forever. But when I look back, I'm amazed that 5 weeks has passed. I'm in the process of readying myself for Denver. I'm already working on press and PR...so I guess it's really happening and in two weeks I'll be back onstage. I better go over my lines again:) (It's like that nightmare when you know you've studied for the test but when the teacher places it in front of you, you don't recognize any of the material)...Anxiety, ain't it fun!
It will be hard to say goodbye to my family and loved ones, but I will find so much joy in seeing my WICKED family again. I have missed them a great deal...I hope they all know that:)

Thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement. I appreciate you all so much!

Much joy,
Stephanie J.

Hi all-
I'm sure most of you have already heard the news that I will not be continuing onto San Fran with the WICKED tour. Although some of the details were not explained or carried through with much accuracy, the fact does remain that I will be taking off 6 weeks. I will finish the run here in LA and then take a break to focus on healing my back and neck. It has been quite a struggle for me, and although I hate that I have to pull away from the show, I know it's what I MUST do to completely heal and get back to my 'old self'.

Eden Espinosa is a dear friend and a wonderful talent. I trust she will love 'my cast' as much as I do and will take good care of the show while I'm away.  The WICKED tour will be in great hands!!!

I will miss this company so very much and my spirit will be with them onstage and off. I hope to be stronger, well rested and rejuvenated
when I return to WICKED in Denver.

As always...much joy and much HEALTH!!!!
Stephanie J.
